St Margaret's is an independent day and boarding school for students from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12. Founded in 1895 by the Sisters of The Society of the Sacred Advent, St Margaret's is renowned as being one of Queensland's leading educators of young women.

Outstanding OP Results
St Margaret's has once again distinguished itself as one of Queensland's leading educators of young women with outstanding OP results in 2008.
- 05/06/2009 - St Margarets has been putting lots of time and help into an appeal for Old Girl, Phoebe Stuart, who suffered an extreme allergic reaction to penicillin that left her a double amputee.
- 07/05/2009 - The recent School musical, Beauty and the Beast, demonstrated the passion students have for the Arts.
- 30/04/2009 - Earlier this week, the Board of Rowing Australia announced the 2009 Australian Rowing Team of which three Maggies Girls were amongst those selected.
